Few engines get as much press as the Hemi, and here’s a bit more thanks to Dodge. The automaker is expanding the V8-powered Durango lineup, which would sound shocking if not for several recent rumors about it. Here’s what to look for in the 2026 Durango and some news about the tenth annual Roadkill Nights event.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]}; For the upcoming model year, Dodge will sell three main trim levels of the Durango. The base SUV will leverage a 3.6-liter V6 and have the moniker GT. It starts at $38,495 and doesn’t have many big, new, flashy options to write home about. The Blacktop Redline package is available again with leather and suede upholstery, a performance hood, and red stitching.

More: We Drove The New Ram RHO And Everyone Asked One Thing

Speaking of the Blacktop Redline package, it’s newly available on the R/T trim as well. Of course, it’ll cost $3,495 on top of the base price of $49,995. Those who select the R/T get a 5.7-liter V8 that we’ve tested and love in this SUV. In addition, the Blacktop Redline package adds 20-inch wheels, SRT spoilers, and unique fender badging.

The Tow N Go package returns for 2026 as well for $5,990. It enables a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds while including Brembo brake calipers, unique 20-inch wheels, widebody flares, a limited-slip differential, and adaptive damping. With or without these packages, Dodge is refreshing the available wheel options for Durango R/T customers. Notably, those prices don’t include a destination cost of $1,995.

In addition to the GT and R/T, the Durango Hellcat will return for 2026 as well. Dodge says it’ll share details about pricing and more later this year. Could that be a hint that it’ll get even more power than in the past? We’ll just have to wait and see.
