It\u2019s the end of an era as the last five-speed manual transmission in America has quietly been killed. In fact, they appear to have been the final nail in a very cheap coffin.<\/p>\n Automotive News broke the story of the manual\u2019s demise and it was confirmed in a statement to Car & Driver<\/a>. In the latter, the automaker said \u201cWe are focusing on the most popular Versa grades that deliver the strongest business performance and are in line with what customers are looking for from this type of sedan.\u201d<\/p>\n
