Throughout the morning, police observed 111 motor vehicle violations, including speeding, cell phone use, reckless driving, and \u2018Move Over\u2019 violations. However, it was a white <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/corvette\/\">Corvette<\/a> that really caught their eye.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/04\/florida-highway-patrol-has-americas-coolest-cop-car\/\">Florida Highway Patrol Has America\u2019s Coolest Cop Car<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At 7:45 a.m., a trooper spotted the Chevy driving at 110 mph (177 km\/h). <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/police\/\">Police<\/a> on the ground attempted to stop the driver, but he decided to speed up and flee, \u201crecklessly\u201d passing traffic. But, unbeknownst to the driver, he was being tracked by the police aircraft, and was later spotted hitting approximately 140 mph (225 km\/h). The plane followed him off the interstate and onto side roads in Windham, where police on the ground were directed to his location.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>The driver, identified as 22-year-old Brandon E. The young driver was released on bail and is set to front the Salem District Court on July 17.<\/p>\n<p>Brandon\u2019s Corvette wasn\u2019t the only one breaking the law that day. Police report that 42 other drivers were spotted going 90 mph or faster, and six of those were clocked at 100 mph or more.
